The bar area - there should have been a residents only bar area. People attending functions took up all the bar space and not enough room there for residents.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the inclusive facilities good. Breakfast was plentiful. The location was very convenient for where I needed to be in Cardiff.
Rooms are looking worn and tired. Whilst the bed and bathroom were clean, around the edges and corners the room were not. There was even a pair of socks from a previous occupant by the side of the chair. They weren't exactly hidden from view so the cleaner obviously hadn't spent long checking the room! I got a good deal booking in advance, however I wouldn't pay the normal room rates as I don't think it's worth it.

The breakfast was very good and left nothing to be desired. The Hilton hotel is located directly opposite Cardiff Castle and only 5 minutes from extensive shopping areas.
The approach by car is not very easy despite the navigation system. Moreover, there is no parking possibility at the hotel, which generates additional costs of 40 pounds.

Good service
Air conditioning was insufficient in the whole hotel, no restful sleep possible, absolutely stuffy and too warm, although the air conditioning runs the whole day!

I was greeted by friendly staff upon check-in, and the hotel offers easy access to amazing landmarks like Cardiff Castle and the fine Bute Park. It's also less than a 5-minute walk from the vibrant City Parish of St John the Baptist.
